It's a heart murmur, go to your general doctor and they may recommend going a to a cardiologist. I was born with a murmur too but had heart trouble and have needed several surgeries. Just go to the doctor and follow their advice.

Hello -
Please make an appointment with your Doctor and have him schedule you for a heart test.....
I also was a preemie, and had heart palpitations and such - yet I ignored them thinking they were "normal for me" .
I am 43 now and just last year discovered that I had an ASD - a very very large hole between the upper Atrial champers of the heart...and because I ignored the signals which my heart was giving me all these years - I also now have pulmonary hypertension, Abdomen-Ascites, and other complications... My fault , and everyday I feel like kicking myself in the behind for my own stupidity.
Everyone please - do not take little signals which your heart gives you for granted!! Go to the Doctors and know that if everything turns out fine, then at least you have that much less stress to worry about!
No Doctor is going to know that you need checked unless you let them know what is going on, or unless your heath deteriorates so much that he KNOWS something is conclusively wrong - which by that time - the damage is all ready done!!
Besides - you twin sister having a heart defect does mean that you possibly could too....and know that a heart murmur can be a side affect of an ASD or other heart birth defects.
Please know that now-a-days heart conditions can be greatly corrected and that you shouldn't worry -stress is bad!!
Just that I made the mistake of NOT letting my Doctor KNOW the symptoms I was having - please do not do the samething!!
GET CHECKED PLEASE!!
And I wish you the best of luck!!

Most heart murmurs are harmless and do not require medical attention. If you have worries about your heart, see a doctor. They can tell just by listening with a stethoscope how 'loud' the murmur is - if they have any doubts about it, they will send you to a cardiologist, who will take an ECG or an ultrasound of the heart to check for valve problems. Likely though, because you were born premature, you had your heart tested a lot on when you were a baby. If in doubt about your health, see a doctor. Good luck.

Yes go to your doctor to make sure there is nothing severely wrong that would need surgery-other wise change your diet . For the next 2 weeks STOP EATING anything made from grains, corn, processed sugar, potatoes and peanuts. Only meats, vegetable and fruits. Everyday also go outside and walk alittle bit-even if it is only 15 or 30 minutes and if you really want to see a change try alittle apple cider vinegar mixed with water before each meal. Heart murmmers can be a sign of a fungus issue. Good luck!

If you have heart pain that really bothers you by all means see your regular doctor to get it checked out. As for the heart murmur since the docs felt you didn't need treatment for it just ignore it. I have one also as I was born with a hole in my heart that closed on it's own. Sometimes they can't even hear it so don't worry about it.

If you're serious about this question, you should see a cardiologist (heart specialist) who will tell you if it's an innocent heart murmur or something more serious. Heart murmurs are common during adolescence, and often they disappear with age. Not every heart murmur means something. The cardiologist will test your heart and give you a complete analysis of how it's functioning.

properly, our 9 month previous rescue, my vet says she has a heart murmur, yet suggested she might want to strengthen out of it as she is truly hyper, finished of power.. although on the different hand, my grandparents round 12 365 days previous miniature daschund has a murmur virtually 1/2 his existence, not some thing is incorrect with him wellbeing smart only takes a pill eevery nightfor it. So on the grounds that your doggy is in elementary words 9 weeks previous, he might want to strengthen out of it. I dont imagine the vomit is with reference to the murmur although, or our our dogs and my granparents must be vomiting each and each and every of the time. once you've any concerns, ask your vet.

ive had one since birth also. i use to have yearly check ups on it where they did echo-cardiograms. your best bet is to schedule a dr. appointment and just have it checked and go from there. it could simply be heart burn, but knowing you have the heart murmur always makes you question. i wouldnt worry too much.

Simple. Every time your heart murmurs, say "Shh!" in a really loud, commanding voice.
