shortness of breath (SOB)/ dyspnea is perceived difficulty breathing or pain on breathing. also known as breathlessness.

apnea- is when someone dont breath

I am sorry I dont understand. Dysphnea is the medical term for difficulty breathing but if you cant breathe then your heart stops and it initiats CPR. I am not sure there is a name for such a thing.

Could be asthma or an anxiety attack can also cause shortness of breath, even allergies can cause the symptom
