The forms are many and very confusing but you should qualify for Social Security disability.
Then you will be able to get medicare.
Have someone help you with all this work. It is complicated but well worth the effort.

Also social service agencies should be able to help with food.
I wish you the best.

If you are on SSI, you should qualify for Medical. Call your local Public Social Services office and tell them of your situation. They may be able to get you free emergency medical treatment. If that doesn't work, you can go to a County Hospital Facility and get seen for free and get free meds. Only problem, it is a long wait. God Bless!

Talk to your family doctor about the Patient Assistance Program that is offered through pharmaceutical companies. There are forms to fill out etc.. this helps those who can't afford their meds get them for free.
you can also check with your local Christian Ministries Organization; they usually have pharmacy service for the same purpose and usually with a MD's Rx you can get them there.

I don't know what state you are in but if you are eligible for food stamps you should also be eligible for medicaid. I reside in ohio and my children get medicaid but our income is a bit too high for my husband and I (I am a type 1 diabetic) . I would call your local health dept. and or family welfare services dept. There should be something out there
