Diabetes is hereditary, but you can stop it with you! Take good care of yourself and eat right. Stay away from starchy foods- (french fries, potatoes, breads, pasta, rice) , refined sugars-(sodas contain alot of sugars) and get plenty of exercise. If you do happen to eat some of these foods do it in moderation and make sure you eat and cook without the additives. Take a multivitamin and know when to eat your fruits. They have natural sugar so you want to make sure you eat them with other things and are eating lots of vegetables. You can go on-line and there are an abundance of websites for diabetes and there are also cookbooks tailored for diabetes. Find the one that has the foods you will more likely cook and eat. Bottom line is to watch your weight. Good Luck and take care of yourself!

Yes I have it in my family and have it now. I test and control with diet. My readings are a bit higher and I may require a pill in a months' time. I am getting older and still in an early stage. My father and brother were farther along than I am now when they were 10 years younger. I have to lose weight and that will be a plus. They say you inherit the gene but also a weaker pancreas
so the less work on this organ the better. Watch your sugars, starches, fats and your weight of course. Diebetics have trouble
with their circulation. Smoking is bad and alcohol consumption
are the hardest on a diebetic. You can live a normal life. Moderation is where it is at.
Some doctors would have you abstain from everything but that is not practical. A good dietician will help you. They will tell you to
eat your proper nutricious food and treat yourself now and than with your chocolate that you love say on the weekend or whatever you are advised. They now know it is pointless to tell someone to give everything up because you'll only get frustrated and crave what you love. In frustration you'll pig out on the chocolate and that they don't want. If you want a piece of chocolate take it but watch the amount and how often you do it.
Don't deprive yourself and all the best.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

first of all type 2 diabetes does run in the family. A child of a type 2 diabetic has a 30 + % chance. (a child of a type 1 that chance is only 3 to 5 %) You should eat whole grains, fruits and veg. cut out soda (high fructose corn syrup) and junk food. Chocolate in moderation. I am a type 1 and I can say I enjoy chocolate every day.

If you want to do all you can to prevent it then you should eat a healthy, balanced diet, exercise, and don't smoke. Type 2 diabetes can be prevented. Don't worry, you don't have to give up chocolate all together, just eat it in moderation. Symptoms can include frequent urination, thirst, and unexplained weight loss. You can find out more by visiting the American Diabetes Association website at www.diabetes.org

Type one isn't really preventable. I mean you need to take care of your body anyway, but having a family member doesn't insure that you will have it.. all mothers have a one in four chance of having a child with diabetes even if both parents are healthy. There currently isn't a cure for Diabetes but I believe with proper stem cell research there might one day be a cure. Symptoms... extrem thrist, frequent urination, feeling wore out... losing weight, your breath might start smelling like sour milk, or nail polish remover...

If you have a family history with diabetes, it does not mean that you will also be diabetic but chances are very high if you do not take care of it now.
Consult your family doctor regularly and monitor your sugar level.
Eating wisely and adopt good habits like exercise and avoiding certain food like fried & starchy food helps

Good Luck
