Well you can have a band or DJ that would be fun!! Maybe have a themed party and have your guest come dressed to your theme if you have them dress up then have a costume contest. Oh yeah make sure there is lots of booze and food!!! Its new years it wont take much for people to have a good time!

Invite a bunch of people, buy a metric ton of booze, have everyone check thier car keys into a lock box at the door, then proceed to go friggin crazy!

It really depends on your scene. We usually do a Chinese buffet at home or a wine and cheese tasting (because we get alot of both as gifts for the holidays). Just keep up with drink consumption and entertain responsibly.

You need to have a big place to party. Outside and inside. If it was me, I would put a fire pit, many drinks, entertainment, like bands, DJs...events, dancing, the works. Good decoration and of course socialize alot. Music.

Mucho booze- with a place to crash. Food, party trays from the deli, pizza, pot luck-others bring a dish, or on the cheap, you provide the place, they provide the refreshments of their choice. Music and companionship.
