Many people are type 2 diabetic for quite a while before they are diagnosed, according to my diabetes care nurse the average is 9 YEARS!!!!
A fasting blood glucose above 7mmols/l (UK measurement system) would be considered at risk and would be followed by a glucose tolerance test. The 2 hours post glucose test being over 10 mmols/l is confirmation of diabetes...;

First of all, a fasting blood glucose needs to be drawn from your blood to determine what level it is. Keep in mind that you definitely should not eat a meal the night before high in carbohydrates and sugar levels. It may give you a false reading.

Anything over 125 is a questionable level and should be monitored, and may be treated by diet alone. A blood sugar level fasting should be at least around 80-100 fasting. Only a physician and proper testing can determine what treatment is needed or if you have diabetes or just hyperglycemia. Watch your diet because you can develop diabetes and not even be aware you have it. You can get all the correction information by logging on the American Diabetes Association on your internet.

Hope I helped.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If you're worried that you may have type 2 diabetes, I think that the cut off used by drs in the uk is if you're above 10% HbA1c, or I guess about 10 mmol/l. Normal for someone without any diabetes or 'pre-diabetes' is below about 7 mmol/l. Diabetes isn't just diagnosed on the basis of simple blood glucose tests as high blood sugar could indicate different conditions too, and if you have symptoms that you think might be of diabetes (eg. being v tyred and thirsty), you should always get these checked out by a dr anyway because they could also be symptoms of other (not necessarily serious) things too.

Hope that helps xx

In the UK a non-diabetic would be expected to have a blood glucose level of approximately 6. However, non-insulin dependant diabetics can have temporarily raised or lower blood glucose levels due to exercise/food intake/illness of between 3.5 and 7.5, so dont automatically assume that you are diabetic without consulting a doctor.

it depends on what insulin or pills you takethe normal blood sugar should be between 90-150.if its higher or if you feel like passing out go get checked out. if you are s diabetic you should not have salty foods,or eat a lot of sugar. if your sugar goes low drink an 8oz glass of orange juice.if you do not have any then use honey or pancake syrup.

Blood sugar should be between 3.5 and 7. If it falls below 2.5 you need to see a doctor. Last thing at night it shouldn't go above 9. If you regulally go out of the normal range or get symptoms of extreme thirst, exhaustion or hunger etc see your doctor right away xxx

At any age,normal fasting plasma glucose is 99mg/dl or lesser and 2-hour post meal should be less than 139 mg/dl or lesser. To convert values into millimoles/l,if you are accustomed to it, divide each value by 18.
