I'm not Philipino but I grew up in British Columbia which has a huge Chinese population, it tastes most like mutton. Cat on the other hand is a lot like chicken..........

Years ago, taking a walk with a friend's wife who had just moved to the states from the Philipine's I was commenting as we passed many people walking their dogs that I missed having a dog. She said that her family had cats for pets but not dogs, because they ate the dogs. I asked her if all breeds tasted the same and she thought this was a very funny question and yes, they did taste the same.

Whatever we Americans are eating is not all that great. I think we're the fattest people on the planet. Just read a food label, maybe there'e two or three recognizable ingredients.

If your question was meant to be disrespectful, shame on you....

I'm not from the Phillipines, I'm from California, and I can tell you that it depends on the marinade you use and the sauce you dip it in. Larger dogs tend to be a bit more tender but "doggier" and with more fat, smaller ones can dry out unless you braise them in a nice broth.

It mostly depends on the cooking technique and condiments. Makes me sort of nostalgic. There is nothing like a nice dinner of Labrador Rump Roast or a quick snack of Beagle Bites...

Oh! Remind me to tell you about the Cat Chow Mein I had in Fresno... orange peel and red pepperflake made this, "one to remember".

Best wishes!
