I have hypoglycemia which is a low blood sugar disease. I have recently been feeling depresed once i was diagnosed. I heard from a unreliable source that the two are connected and that hypoglycemia makess your moods change so much that it can actually form depression. I was just waundering if anyone out there has hypoglycemia or knows of someone who does and if they expierence this.thank you!

it's true, hypoglycemia can lead to mood swings.
But the cause of depression is multifactorial, even the fact that you know you have this diagnosis is a contributing factor. When someone knows he has a chronic illness he has to cope with lots of things, including symptoms, treatment, side effects of diff drugs.
I can understand how hard it is to know that in every moment a hypo can occur, to know that it can lead to conscience loss.
Don't let depression take over, learn as much as you can about preventing and treating a hypoglycemia, once you're in control you'll feel stronger.
Talking to a psychologist specialised in medical psychology would be helpful . Also, sharing info with people experiencing the same problem (like you did right now) is a good thing.
take care
