Ok I loveeeeeeeeeee curry to death, all kinds of dishes and everything, its so addictive. However, I cannot stand the smell it leaves after eating it....like if i cook at home, the house would smell like it for at least a day no matter what I do,...same goes for Body Odor I guess which makes me stop eating it....
how can I enjoy the food, yet not be affected by these unpleasant sideeffects??

Great question!!! I'm totally with you on loving curry without the after smell. I have even had it stain my cook wear! When I cook with it the smell doesn't usually last that long. How much do you use?.....maybe light some scented candles, open windows, turn on a fan......as for the b.o......drink lots of water and flush it out of your system.

I wanted to buy a house once but couldn't because it permanently smelled like Indian food. It sucked because the house was perfect except for that and the realtor said there was no way to get rid of it. ICK!

cook your curry outside. or after cooking put a pot of water on the stove with cinnamon piece and lemon cut in half allow it to boil and evaporate it will absorb the cooking odors.

My daddy is an Indian chef, so I know what your talking about, but we have a fan thing over our stove, so it siphons all the air into our backyard.. plus you can always get air deoderizers, like Oust... or just light up some candles and open the windows!

This is may be you are not use to it. You can cook curry without adding curry leaves. Try it! Or try not to put to much. 2 stalk would be enough.
