Okay, I've had sex with my girlfriend who is taking birth control pills. So we had sex and she started her menstrual cycle. We didn't know this until I pulled out and there was her period starting.
Is there anything I should worry about especially when I was having sex with no condom/protection right before she started her period?
Is it possible to contract HIV or some sort since blood is blood and I wasn't using a condom at the time?
Thanks,
Scared and Worried.

Also she does not have HIV or any STD.
I figured that she is bleeding from the vagina (PMS) and my penis has an opening on the tip (urine pipe), so maybe I be at risk.
Thanks for the quick and very fast replies!

1) If she is on her period she has a low risk of pregnancy if you ejaculated even a little before pulling out because the egg is being shed from her body and her body won't release another egg for a week or two.
2) It's possible to contract HIV/AIDS through blood and unprotected sex but not if she doesn't have it.
3) Blood is Blood, first it isn't pure blood, its mixed with other fluids that make it look like alot of blood. A woman only bleeds a teaspoon or so of blood on her period. Second, when you ejaculate, urinate, or bath the tip of your penis is flushed out. Just because you were thrusting and she was bleeding doesn't mean her blood is now inside your body. Its probably way long gone by now. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
1) Go get tested for STD's and HIV/Aids to be safe, you can usually get tested for free at a planned parenthood facility and it will be confidential, noone will ever know you were there, including your gf if you don't want her to know.
2) I advise using protection. The myth of condoms killing the mood and making it unpleasurable is a lie and shouldn't be a concern above all when your considering your protection against diseases, and above all an unwanted child because the Lord knows we have enough of those running around and you want to be sure its the right time and person when your ready for that. Good luck to you!
P.S. PMS is Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, its the cramping, moodiness and hormonal changes that take place in her body before the bleeding occurs. Once bleeding occurs its called her period, or menstruation.
Hope I helped!

There is nothing wrong with having sex before or during her period.
You should never have unprotected sex as there is always the possibility of her getting pregnant. Also HIV can be contracted.
Think next time and use a condom!

It is definitely possible for you to contract HIV from being in contact with her blood as you were. You can contract HIV through the exchange of blood, semen, vaginal fluids, and breast milk. I would strongly recommend getting an HIV test 3-6 months after you guys had sex (that is the window period before your body starts creating detectable antibodies for the virus). You may also want to get tested for the common STDs just to be safe and knowledgeable.

Does your gf have HIV? You should know the answer to that if you are having sex with her. Her period isn't going to have much effect on your risk of catching an STD if you are already having unprotected sex, the pill doesn't protect from STDs.
Do everyone a favor, send this email to every school you know that teaches abstinance, send it to president bush. Tell them all to bring back sex ed or the spread of STD is going to increase.

Who knows. PMS is diverse for each individual. working example, i don't get pains or something of the type. I purely get this random urge to kick the **** out of somebody. As for the intercourse element, I relatively doubt you're pregnant. except you have been with a guy doing a sprint kinky stuff, i do no longer comprehend.

You can't get a disease from somebody who doesn't have a disease... and there is nothing wrong with having sex with your girlfriend while she is on her period. You don't have anything to worry about.

if your girlfriend doesn't have it then you can't get it from her...... and at this point i think you should just be happy she started her period! especially if you weren't wearing a condom.
