If your both 1st timers then no, not at all likely unless you or your partner has an std from another source, HIV, genital warts, herpes can be transmitted during birth; or intravenous drug use (using needles) with a person who is infected.
All disease have to come from some where, simply having sex won't cause them to appear. STD's are called Sexually Transmitted Disease be cause they have to be Transmitted from one infected person to another usually through Sexual contact.

Well, in some cases you can. There are lots of different strains of herpes viruses, for example. (Chicken pox and cold sores are types, for instance.) Most people have the virus which causes cold sores from the time they are little kids, whether or not they have outbreaks. Once you have the virus, you have it in your system forever. You can pass it to someone else if you are in the stage called "shedding". SO, someone can come up with a type of herpes even if neither of you has been sexually active before!

That is not true, you can definitely spread herpes through the mouth as virgins, which could be spread to the genitals through oral sex if the person has a cold sore.
