It is regulated that manufacturers list all the sugars contained in the product. Labelling is tricky though. Terms like corn syrup, saccharose, are also sugar. Of course there's also the sweeteners and carbohydrates which also refer to sugar content.

Most diabetics these days check the amount of Carbohydrates per serving times the number of servings of any given food. The carbs relate directly to the number of units of insulin needed by insulin dependent diabetics. Many of the Facts have sugars separated from glucose, fructose, and other sweetening materials. i believe it does not
my grandmother is a diabetic, and glucose is accepted, however the sugars tab has to be 0
