I would go to the ER without further delay,,not only can the chlorine hurt your throat and lungs, but you can get caustic burns in throat and lungs from the muriatic acid which can cause swelling in both and permanently damage your lungs! Hopefully you're still with us or conscious enough to read these answers .
Should you decide to do this again you can purchase respirators at most hardware stores pretty cheap, especially compared to funeral expenses!!!

consult a doctor. when you mixed those chemicals you produced some highly dangerous fumes. probably something like HCL (hydro-chloric acid) vapours. its possible that there is some damage to your lungs, and not having it treated could cause the problem to become permanent or even worse. if you cant get in to see a doctor, try calling the poison control center. tell them everything that happened, and they will suggest something. although in all likelyhood, they'll suggest going to a doctor. although it may be severe enough to warrant a trip to the ER.

GO to the emergency room. You may have severly damaged your lungs - what you breathed in was chlorine gas. Do not wait go now.

Here is excerpt from the Material Data Safety Sheet for chlorine gas:

Inhalation: Major potential route of exposure. Exposure to chlorine gas may cause severe irritation of mucous membranes of the nose, throat, and respiratory tract followed by severe coughing, burning, chest pain, vomiting, headache, anxiety, and feeling of suffocation. Severe breathing difficulties may occur which may be delayed in onset. Severe exposure may lead to pneumonitis and pulmonary edema and may be fatal. Repeated or prolonged exposure may result in reduced pulmonary capacity and dental erosion.

I know how you feel.I wish I could help you. You can try that but be careful make sure no one is is affected during the process. Good luck to you. May you have a safe death. I agree with May. That won't work. Try something else.

You should drink freezing cold water first. Then after a few glasses, lay face first onto a pillow. It helps to relieve your chest pain. I've learnt from previous experiences. :)

Ggo to Dr. could be poisonous. Call a poison control center if you have no insurance just to check. They are in the yellow pages

Ring a poisons hotline, found in the phone book and tell them, they can then direct you to the apprpriate treatment and tell you if you should seek medical help. I would ring them first, but you could try drinking milk, to help coat you throat.
