HIV+ people can have sex - they just need to be honest with their partner and use a condom every time. The honesty is important because then the partner can choose whether or not to risk having sex. Condoms do break, rarely, and it only takes one exposure to HIV to acquire it.
"Double bagging" is a bad idea, because it makes it more likely that the condoms will break. Better to just use a single condom, or if you're that worried, then don't have sex with that person.

Having HIV doesn't mean you can't have sex, but it is obviously NOT a good idea. Condoms Do break, so there is no particular safe way. So, technically yes, he shouldn't be fooling around with his wife.

Yes he can and does have sex with his wife, with a condom being used. Kudos to his wife for sticking with him through this. I can handle most std's, but that's one where I am unsure if I'd be strong enough to stay through.

No they can still have sex with their wives, they just make sure to use extra protection.....he probably double wraps :)
