Depends on what I'm in the mood for and which restaurant the food comes from. I've eaten some really bland Chinese food, some where the black bean sauce overwhelms everything, some that is so hot you can't taste at all (and sometimes have trouble breathing because it's too hot). But if you get excellent Chinese food, it's yum. However, there are times when I want some other type of food and Chinese would NOT hit the spot at those times.

The best? No. But I do like it when it's made right. There's a Chinese fast food restaurant near my home that has great food and they know the difference between Teriyaki and Schezwan. I prefer Mexican and Italian; again when they're made right and not overly Americanized.

Well, I'm Chinese-Singaporean. So therefore, I grew up eating it and still like it. I also like Indian, Malaysian, Thai, Italian, Japanese, , and Mexican, all the same.
And graftonhill, not all Chinese food is full of grease, oil and MSG. Chinese food can be good if prepared right. However, you are entitled to your own opinion.

i love chinese but two weeks ago I went out to eat some and I found 1 1/2 cockroaches in my rice! So it will be a long time before I can stomache it again.... if I ever eat it again.

I have never tasted it but from what I've heard, they never cook their food well done and eat frogs and such. Don't take my word for it. I'm not sure. But nothing beats Indian food!! Especially Butter Chicken!!! It gets me every time...lol....
