kheer is a rice pudding dessert, and what i do to make mine is

1 cup of rice, 1 cup of sugar, cardomon powder(available at

indian groceirces) about 1 teaspoon, cook on medium heat for

about an hour, when you reach about 1/2 hour blend it with a

mixer for about 2 min , then after 10 more min do it again and

again after ten min after that. when you blend it it will make alot of

bubbles so you will need to skim them off and just through away

. make sure you stir it during the last 30 min frequently not to let it

burn. you will know it is done when it is thick like pudding before

you put it in the fridge that takes about one hour from start to

finish. then you will put it in the fridge. it is good warm and cold.

my friends from pakistan and india love it better then when we

go to the resturants. the key is to blend the rice though this

makes it think and the rice small like in their country.
