You're almost certainly right. It sounds typical of thrush. And no, you're not giving it to him: thrush (Candida albicans) normally lives in small numbers on the skin under the foreskin, but can overgrow and become troublesome for a number of reasons: taking antibiotics, having diabetes, not washing properly under there, too much friction, or sometimes for no particular reason.

If he gets it a lot he should have a chat with his doctor.

Send your boyfriend to the doctor, love. I have no personal experience whatsoever with sexually transmitted diseases, but I know there are a hell of a lot of people out there who have them, and I've read a lot of questions with people describing little white dots on penises, so I'd say that's what he's got.
And if he has an STD, you don't want to be having unprotected sex with him, or going down on him for that matter. I wouldn't touch him again until he's had it checked out.
For that matter, it probably wouldn't hurt if you had a checkup, too. Don't mean to scare you, but better safe than sorry.
Good luck.

You got some very good answers here, I only want to add that if he's the only one you're with, it's not your fault. Protect yourself and see your doctor for std's. Don't have sexual contact with him until he does the same. If he whines about it or tries to make you feel guilty (like, "If you love me you'll do it") don't fall for it. If he loves you he'll get it checked by a doctor.

White dots? Doctor time. You should get a check up too, and tell your doctor the situation.

he probably is lying, he has some kind of disease and you need to tell him to go get checked out, he might already know that he has something and is using sex and head as an excuse to why he has these "things" on him. You need to stop giving him head and you need to use condoms when you are having intercourse with him if you aren't already.

the both of you need to go the doctor because both of you could have an STD and if you do have an STD it is really unhealthy to let it sit in your body without treatment.

Are you sure he isn't lying to you? It sounds like an STD to me.
