if i have blisters..if i touch it..would my finger easily get the blister?doed the blister hurt or have feelings or ichy??

if you have open areas of skin, hangnails and such, it might transmit. usually the area is numb at first, then painful as it breaks open.

Your finger is most likely to become infected if there is a cut or abrasion on it when you touch the blister. If you wash the finger thoroughly after touching the blister it should be fine. The term for herpes infection of a finger is "herpes whitlow". Herpes can also be transmitted to the face, buttocks, or eyes.

In addition to the answers above, it's very important to wash your hands after contact with the sores. You can spread it to other parts of your body -- you especially want to be careful when touching your face -- your lips and eyes can easily become infected.
