Yes, of course you can. But since chemotherapy (which I'd bet you're on) attacks rapidly-dividing cells--which includes sperm--if you're male I would recommend using condoms to reduce the chances of defected sperm feritlizing an egg. Certain other chemo drugs will leach into bodilly fluids, so again it makes sense to use contraception. You may also have to place limits on the type of sexual activity you engage in: Cancer treatment compromises the immune system, so bacteria is an ever-present threat. Caution performing oral or anal sex should definately be observed, since either allows significant exposure to potentially infectious organisms. Please discuss this with your oncologist just to be certain what sorts of precautions you'll need to take, and if any certain activity is to be considered "off limits."

my mom had cervix cancer and she was advised not to have sex....now I was only young....so we're looking like 10-20 years ago....Im not sure if she had it right after I was born or when I was in grade 5....

all depends which cancer you have, best to talk with a professional.

yes you can, just try not get pregnant. I would think that treatment would affect a baby.
