The hen of coarse! There is no way an egg could survive without its mother around!
Don't ask who made the hen. If you say the egg came first, I could ask who made the egg. Wheather you favor the evolution theory, or the creation theory, you must accept that the hen came first. Evolutionsists do not suggest that a chicken egg evolved from a terydactyl.

OK there are two answers depending on do you mean a chicken egg or any egg.
There were eggs before there were chickens so in that case the eggs came first.
But if you mean a chicken egg then the chicken came first, because without a chicken you can't have a chicken egg. Hear me out, the first chicken didn't come from a chicken egg, it was adaption, a mutation, from another chicken like bird, so therefore the first chicken parents weren't chickens so their eggs weren't chicken eggs. It was only after the first chicken was hatched that we could have chicken eggs. QED

This is a very old Question, I heard it when I was very young, and the answer is very simple, however,it took me a long time to get to it and to get understanding Then,here is the Answer: God comes First. He is the Creator of the Universe and all that is in it. Therefore; God created the Chicken and the Rooster and the Chicken laid an egg, and they multiplied.Now that you know share it with others.

The chick because according to Darwin's theorey animals evolved into different lifeforms.So some animal must have evolved into a chick or a similar looking animal which evolved further to become a proper hen which further laid eggs to produce more chicks and get the race going.

dinos made the egg and when the egg hatched,they thought it was one hideous dino,so they let it into the wild,then the same thing happened with another dino,so those 2 chickens met up and had more chickens and there you have it.
