It is true that the HIV virus is found in all the body fluids of an HIV+ person, including his/her saliva. However, the amount present in the saliva is too insignificant/minute to result in infection. Hence, there is no risk in, for e.g., sharing food/eating utensils with an infected person.
Dry kissing (without the exchange of saliva) is safe. Wet kissing (with the exchange of saliva) can be a bit riskier, especially if the HIV- person has cuts/open wounds in his/her mouth. These cuts/open wounds may allow transmission of the minute amount of the HIV virus in the saliva of the HIV+ person. To play it safe, avoid wet/deep/French kissing. However, a peck on the lips is definitely not risky.

I have always heared that you can not get hiv/aids by kissing some one. Although it is carried in the syliva of a person, I heared it would take like 9 gallons of it for you to get hiv/aids. My best advice is ask a doctor or nurse.

You can't get HIV from kissing someone, unless he/she has open sores or cuts in his/her mouth (HIV can be transmitted through blood).
