It is extremely hard to quit smoking. I just turned 30 and I started when I was 16. I have tried numerous times to quit. You should quit now.

Huh? Why would you start smoking just to deliberately stop again in two years? Its not worth taking the first puff to begin with.

I started smoking when i was 15 and i tried quitting when i was 18. It didnt work and i continued to smoke until i was 27 (how old i am now). Im now 9 months pregnant and gave up the fags when i first found out about the pregnancy in May.

It is EXTREMELY hard. Ive now not touched a cigarette in 6-7 months cold turkey. It was the hardest decision i have ever made. Your body lets go of nicotine very easily- It can be out of your system in days. But your body can go through withdrawals for weeks afterwards. Then your lungs have to start healing which can take decades to get over. You also can have psychological cravings as well which i get all time.

Its not worth it. Cigarettes are extremely addictive and if you plan to give up in 2 years, why not just do it now? Save yourself the torture of trying to do it when your body maybe more addicted to the substance. Is it really worth losing your lung capacity? If i could take back time i would never have touched those filthy things in the first place. What a waste of 12 years.

Quit now.

I started smoking at 11 and smoked on-and-off for 20 years; my last cigarette was 2 years ago this January, and every now and again I crave them if I'm in a bar or relaxing in certain places (luckily the non-smoking ordinances make it easier on me).

The physical pain of my cells screaming for nicotine was agony; I cried a few times because my skin and muscles stung. There were points I would drive around and debate with myself whether or not to go buy a pack of cigarettes as I sat and had cold sweats, trying to keep the willpower up.

Two years will turn into five then ten then twenty. You're not quitting in two years; by that time, smoking will be a habit you won't feel you have to break. By the time you reach 20 years of smoking and are desperate to quit but can't, you realize that that first cigarette was the last one you should ever have smoked.

PLEASE quit while you can. I'm 40 & literally dieing. The times that I gasp for breathe are horrible. To top it off I have a 14 year old that has to watch. But I'm simply an *** I still can't quit. My lungs are only working at 60 to 70%. In another 10 years if I'm still alive the doctor said my life will be like a vegetable. I'll get out of breathe walking across my living room. They say its harder to quit smoking than anything else but if you've only been smoking for 2 years you can do it I've been smoking gor 26 years

I quit after 50 years, a 5 pack a day habit

I have 02 PRN but have to give up 1 day per week, sometimes more just for 02 delivery

It took over 5 times to quit, main issue that helped was another $10 a carton in taxes, so the rich didn't have to chip in.

I can't work
I can't drive more than a couple hours
I can't go on most airlines
I can't go into a resturant unless it's totally smoke free
I can't have normal sex
I have one hell of a time with "Side effects" of broncial drugs

Maybe if you start to quit now, you might get-r-dun in 2 years

Have fun
Save your money

Quit now while you can. My aunt is a smoker. She had stroke and lost 80% of her lung capacity because of smoking. She also has emphysema and COPD as a result of smoking. She is now on oxygen 24/7 and literally cannot quit to save her life. She has tried, but every attempt fails.

Why did you even start? It is very hard to quit, I have been smoking for over 15 years and can't quit. So if you just started, please put them down now.

Well MARK TWAIN used to say it was easy, "I have done it thousands of times". Smoking can be more addictive than Heroin, I have heard people say who used to smoke and do drugs. Myself, I found it very very difficult to give up, but after having a heart attack caused by smoking it gave me the incentive-"give up or die".
Best way is stop now, beware of friends who will say,"oh! its only one it wont harm you"?
If you value your life and want to live STOP NOW

are you nuts?

how hard is it to dig out from under a two year collection of the world's horse manure?
how hard is it to drink two years worth of sewer water?

why don't you just sit in front of the mirror and punch yourself in the face instead of filling your lungs with smoke? same results... no, actually, smoking is worse cause it hurts you and hurts people around you.

god bless!!
