Whew...
Well I guess that could happen, but how would your penis come in contact with the toilet seat? I mean, that would be pretty awkward. But yeah, I guess hypothetically this could happen, but first you'd need an entry way for the virus to get into your body, like say a cut or open sore.
Contrary to what many believe, AIDS is not contracted simply because the virus enters the penis through the meatus (pee hole). The virus is spread through an entry way into the bloodstream. For instance, during sex the friction of the actual act may cause some microscopic tears in the skin of your penis. This is how the disease is spread. The more tears, the more your chance of contracting the disease if your partner has it. This also explains why not all sex with someone who is HIV (+) leads to contracting the disease by the non-infected party. This also why anal sex makes it easier to get the virus.
So your penis would have to have an open area right where the "fresh semen" is on the toilet.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a virus has to have a living host to survive. It can't live long outside of the body. But to be safe, you can always take along a little bleach or some other kind of disinfectant to wipe down any toilet that you're going to use. Or you can simply not sit on the toilet at all. But chances are, you're very unlikely to contract AIDS like this.

wow, people can be pretty cruel with their answers. This is supposed to be a place to go to when a person is either young, undereductated in a particular area or simply not know the answer to something. I understand and have seen many odd and rediculous questions here but I don't think this question is really all that bad. It's a touchy subject that someone might be embarrassed to ask a friend or relative and dosen't want to pay a doctor's visit fee to find out what the answer is.....the other alternative is to find out via the internet. That's what I believe this person is doing.....
So, NO it's not likely one can get HIV that way but thanks for at least being concerned/brave enough to ask a question that could possibly harm you or someone else in the event it WAS possible!!

Are you %^&*@ me? Jezuz Chrystler Imperial. That is really MENTAL. And if a potato falls out of the sky and hits your windshield and you wreck into another car and the driver and you get hurt, if you come near each other could you get HIV?
See how stupid that is?
If you are so tarded to put your penis on semen on a public toilet seat, then I don't know what to tell you.

Haven't you ever heard the song by Big Jedd & the Flat Beds? It was called "You can't get AIDS from a toilet seat!" San Francisco, CA circa 1989. A guy by the name of Rory Todd Thompson from Bakersfield, CA wrote it in 1987.

not at all, the only way to contract the virus is to exchange bodily fluids through your blood stream (intercourse, needles, cuts), as long as your penis did not have any cuts that the semen could enter on it at the time and the semen did not enter you in anyway you are safe. Touching bodily fluids of someone who has hiv will not harm you or cause you to contract it.
