I'm not sure if you mean is asthma a disease or what? but if that is the question then NO! it is not a disease, i have asthma and it is purely a illness that by time can get better and even fade to become a memory. it is like diabetes or epilepsy...... a disease is something like aids or TB... hope this helps.

Hi! I had "asthma", GERD (a gastric reflux "disease") and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary "disease"), always coughing and with pneumonia and respiratory distress. Ended up in the hospital for 12 days last year and come to find out, reflux of gastric acids at night back-washed--came back up my esophogus and leaked into my lungs!! The pulmonary specialist said to get a cinder block under the head of my bed and sleep on an incline to prevent this reflux--so easily slipping into my lungs for 8 hrs/night! I found that 4" incline worked perfectly for me!!--NO coughing; no colds or breathing problems!!! No asthma!! I've been very healthy this last year and a half!!
Breathing well ROCKS!!
