Vegemite. If you want to know what it tastese like and cannot find it, look for "Marmite" which is also yeast extract. It is english and a little more readily available in the U.S. If you try either, buy the smallest Jar you can find, and put VERY LITTLE on toast or a cracker. It is a food you will love or hate. An aquired taste. If you like it, you will find it mixes well with many things, if not, at least you tried it.
