Im guessing you meant to say oral sex at the age of 10 is bad. If you haven't talked to your daughter about sex and how to be safe about it i think now is the best time to do so. Don't jump to conclusions, thats very important. Make sure you have the facts straight(that she really did have oral sex or whatever you know that she did sexually). Explain what are the risks and talk about cause and effect, for example. "If you do this,..that will happen as a consequence" etc. Try to talk to your daughter calmly although it will be hard because i can see how insecure you feel by not knowing what to do and get her to talk to you. Making her feel comfortable while talking about this subject is very important so that she can approach you other than who knows who else. I wish you all the best. =)

You can't get pregnant from oral sex. She can get all sorts of std's, though, so she really shouldn't be doing it until she's old enough to take responsibility and ensure her partner uses a condom. But. 10 years old is way too young to be doing that. She really should see a therapist so you all can figure out why she feels like she needs to be engaging in oral sex at her age.

I would try to give her the facts. I wouldn't tell her that she can be pregnant from that because last time I checked you can't. I would tell her about the different types of STD's and I would also tell her she is too young for that.

Here is what I am wondering? Where are you when your 10 year old is doing this? She shouldn't be allowed to date for about 5 or 6 more years. She shouldn't have boys in her room or be in theirs. I am wondering if you are pretty young yourself if you really think that she can get pregnant from oral sex.

SHE CANNOT GET PREGNANT FROM ORAL. NEVER give your child inaccurate information bc once she finds out she wont trust your wrds anymore. Show her pictures of STD's explain them to her. HIV/AIDS as they can be transmitted orally. And where has your guidance been that a 10 y.o has to be preforming oral sex? Where does a 10 y.o get the chance to be alone with a boy to do such a thing? I think its about time you sit with her and have the "birds and the bees" talk with her its never to late. Does your daughter not get the adequate attention that shes giving someone oral for attention. I'm sorry if I'm offending you but it makes no sense to me how a 10 y.o would even been alone with a boy and how she would think its OK to have oral sex at such a young age

Show her pictures of STDs, as well as people suffering from AIDS. Maybe take her to volunteer for those suffering from it. Sounds like she needs to be shocked into reality. gentle discussions aren't going to cut it.
