Those first two suggestions are cliched and filled with doom and gloom. Yes, HIV and AIDS are "bad stuff"....
However, you have an excellent chance to educate here. Yes, people with Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS) are visually, uh, arresting, but if you only use people who "look sick" you'll give the impression that *everybody* who has AIDS "looks sick" and that is simply not the case. By all means, use images of KS but also use images of healthy-looking people who also have AIDS. You might even want to invite the viewer to choose between images which person does or doesn't have AIDS. Of course, you trick them by ONLY showing people with AIDS. When the viewer selects the "healthy looking" ones, they'll learn something.
You may also go to the extreme and use images of ONLY healthy-looking people with AIDS and ONLY images of devastingly ill people who *don't* have AIDS.
The point of all that is to teach that you can't tell who has AIDS/HIV by looking at a person.
Other "visuals" you may consider: the medications used to treat HIV infection, HIV particles themselves, a time-line (starting back in 1959 with the first known/confirmed case of HIV infection), map of the world with infection rates, etc.
My point is, overall, AIDS and HIV are not filled with doom and gloom all the time. Yes, people die from the disease's complications and AIDS really, really sucks. But many young people (like I assume you are) are sadly mal-educated on the condition; they think it's a "Gay Man's Disease" and it isn't, they think it's only spread through unprotected sex with "dirty" people and it isn't, they think everybody with AIDS is going to die from it and they aren't, etc., etc., etc....
Anyway, I hope you get an A with my suggestions. :)

The Quilt exhibit in DC where it covered the whole Capitol Lawn. If you want some depressing visuals get pics of people in the terminal stages of Kaposi's Sarcoma. But be advised, it is very seriously very bad.
