Yes, it is used in a nebulizer, Xopenex is Levalbuterol. Which is a beta-2 receptor agonist and activate and dilates the smooth muscles in the lungs which helps asthmatics breath easier.

are you looking for xopenex?sounds and is pronounced the way you spelled it.
it is very similair to albuterol another type of med used in a nebulizer
the neat thing about xopenex is it doesn't have the side effects that albuterol has..
however it is more expensive and i've found that alot of insurance companies won't pay for it.
