You need a doctor! I imagine you are feeling pretty weak and not getting enough sleep. Bronchitis is what this sounds like. You need an x-ray and let him listen to you lungs. You shouldn't hold out on seeing you doctor. The longer you wait the more problems you may end up with. I had done the same thing on not seeing my doctor and almost got stuck in the hospital. Good luck and go see him!

You probably have COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) or similar but its hard to tell because the main cause is smoking and I do not know if you smoke or not.
I have this complaing but I have been smoking for the past 35 years.
If you smoke give them up now . It wont be easy.
It gets worse when you have a cold or flu.
Have a look at the following web site with answers about copd

Hi! this could be due to an allergic reaction. It may be an allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Go see and EENT. Although I am a medical student, I can not really do much for you becuase your history is very important to have a good evaluation of your condition...

if you have been diagnosed with asthma and you have alot of mucus then you need to drink alot of water because water hydrates secretions and makes it easier to cough it up. if these secretions are green in color then your not drinking enough water.
if they are yellow you could have an infection and you need to see a doctor.
