"Bling in the New Year" ?
Have a masquerade party and if you don't want everyone to come in full costume; just put that they have to wear a face mask - it's fun!
Party favors; lots of shiney amenities around the house; carefully plan your menu; do you want hordeourves or a buffet? You've got to feed people if you plan on serving alcohol.
