Allergies, asthma or bronchitis can cause the tickling in the back of the throat.

tickling in the back of the throat---can be caused from dry scratchy throat---if this makes you cough try throat lozenges or gargle with salt water ( if you have strep throat-strep hates salt)
if you have a soar throat be careful--could be the start of the bad cold. take vit c, drink water, get enough rest, sip on chicken noodle soup.
