With the strain I've had, I went for one treatment 11 years ago, and that was the last I've seen of warts since. But I may be an exception to the rule though. I have had one friend that got a new wart almost monthly, and I've got another friend who's was diagnosed 20 years ago and has only had 5 warts in the entire time. Each persons immune system dictates how many you'll get over time, not by one answer you'll receive on here.

It depends on the strain of the virus. Some strains don't even cause warts. Those are the ones that can cause cervical cancer. As far as the ones that do cause warts, the same triggers that set off any virus basically apply, the main one being stress. There are many different strains and they are all different so my advice to you would be to ask your Dr.

Everyone is different. Even after contracting the strains that cause warts some people will never get them. Some may only get them once, some may go years in between, and some may battle them constantly.
It may depend on the strain but it also may highly depend on one's immune system and stress level. Many women who have had them in the past will get recurrances when they are pregnant when the body is more taxed. Since it is based on your immune system the best you can do is eat well, exercise, and do what you can to reduce stress levels.

There are different types of HPV, some types, you dont get warts, some make you more prone to cervical cancer, and with some, you dont have any symptoms at all. The warts will tend to come out more with irritation, and if you are stressed out. Use lubrication during intercourse, (and protection), and try to de-stress when you get stressed out.

I'm pretty sure that genital warts, like any warts, can come and go when they want. There is no specific time period. Viruses are like that.

I think if you get them removed they could come back. Check at planned parenthood's website.

once a virus has entered your body, it pretty much stays,, just lies dormant for a period of time.. stress, illness, diet, etc can cause flare ups...

None because I don't have ether, I use something called a condom, so I don't get infected.
