Yes and it's something to take very serious. When my hypertension was out of control, I would get realllly bad migraines. I remember once when I had a hypertensive crisis...I went to the ER and spend the night there....until they could get my blood pressure down. I had a migraine from out of this world.

I can always tell when my blood pressure is high, the hypertension headache starts....

It's important to get on medication as soon as possible. Hypertension is serious business. Left untreated, a person can suffer a stroke, heart attack, and/or kidney failure.

A lot of my kidney patients had hypertension before their kidney transplant. To them, their blood pressure wasn't a big deal...

Go see your doctor....start taking your blood pressure every day even after you're on medication....Take good care of your body and your body will take good care of you.

Best wishes.

>>> I just read someone's resonse that drinking will make your headache pain better....true...because alcohol is a blood thinner and it will take SOME pressure off your throbbing blood vessels, but if you have hypertension, it will make the hypertension WORSE. Be careful where you get advice from. This is not a guessing game. Talk to your doctor and get this resolved. <<<

Best wishes.

My mom used to get migraines a lot and her blood pressure was generally a little high.

I know that when I get stressed out, I get migraines really bad... which makes sense because if you're stressed, you blood pressure is higher than normal.

Ask your doctor, they will probably be able to tell you best, but for this question, I would say yes. I know that a lot of times though, migraines are hereditary, so if you don't have any close relatives with a history of migraines, your chances of getting them are lower than someone who has a history.

I found some sites that have some info on migraines for you...

Hi, my name is Christian Goodman

I’m well-known in the health field as a natural health researcher.

My articles have been published on several thousand websites as well as many off-line health journals.

In this letter, I’ll share my story of how I accidentally stumbled onto this method that quickly and naturally lowers high blood pressure after having suffered life-threatening hypertension for years.

What I discovered was so easy, so simple yet so powerful that it led me to create a program . . . that helps more than 88.7% of those who use it to normalize their blood pressure – usually within a week.

"I am delighted with the results with your blood pressure prog, I’ve dropped from around 146/90 to today’s reading 122/74."

"I believe this is magic. I got your program yesterday and already I feel better. I go back to my Doctor today. She will be happy for me. I really hope to get off this medicine. The side effects will kill you. I slept all night after doing the evening excerize. Thank you so much."

In my opinion he made a wrong choice of HTN medications, I think he should add a diuretic and anti-anxyolytic too, for a couple of days or week. Besides he should get your kidneys check up too, by running a blood urea, and creatinine and Hb. This is a suggestion discuss with your doctor. Loosing weight and etc. are good suggestions.

I'll just tell you about a girl I knew. She would get them terribly bad, and although she never drank socially I gave her a shot of whiskey one time when it was really bad, and in a few minutes she said it felt like someone let the pressure off, and all the pain was gone. I'm not advocating getting drunk, but alcohol does have medicinal value.
