A spoonful of honey a few times a day will help. Lot and lots of fluids to wash out all the grems in your body.
Use the warnm/hot water with salt gargle at least 4 times a day.
Also, if you have any-microwave a few garlic cloves (5-6 of them), if no microwave use an oven @300 degrees for 15 minutes. Then sqeeze the softened garlic out of their skins and spread onto crackers or a little toast.
That will help quite abit. Don't forget. LOTS of fluids. good luck.

If the cause is bacterial, which it rarely is, antibiotics would be in order. Otherwise, just treat the symptoms. Salt water gargles. Rest your voice. Clorospetic spray (over the counter).

or turmeric in hot milk.
Swallowed - not gargled.

Gross but - it works!

Don't talk. Try Cepacol lozenges. Most of all, do not talk at all.
