I've always thought Alexander was a power name for a boy. I guess association with Alexander the Great would explain it.

I'm guessing at some point, Hillary will be considered a power name for a girl.

The thing to remember is that a person will be remembered in life for what he is, not by just a fancy sounding name. Keep it simple.

name him after a Roman Emperor or a great Conqueror? How about Octavian or Alexander? Avoid Attila, Adolph,
George W. and Napoleon.

Joshua for a boy, in Hebrew in the Bible, Jesus is referred to as Joshua, it means whom God has saved, and for a girl Victoria, means victorious sprite.

i guess its better if you will give ur hild a unique name... or if you want..u can use the name of the gods such as zeus..hercules..and more but i do prefer a unique name...
