Shes a 10month old Lab/Chow mix and a week or so she started gnawing on sides of her legs and base of her tail. I cant see anything but bare skin on her legs but within the bald spots on base of tail, there are bumps. They look like a b.b under the skin...no real head to it like a pimple. Im scared to look too close because the whole parasite/bug thing freaks me out. Can anyone give me a clue what it could be??

Most likely your dog has fleas. These areas (the back lumbar areas up to the tail ) are areas that often goes bald when a dog or cat has fleas due to scratching. Is your dog itchy? A dog allergic to flea show severe signs of itchiness even if there's only one flea. If there's more, the more. Apply Frontline or Advantage to kill the fleas. You can buy them from a Vet. Clinic or better ask advice first from the vet of the clinic.

So..
This is a good guide with a step-by-step method to get your hair back http://hairagain.toptips.org

Male hair loss is the most common type of hair loss. It's caused by increased sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in certain parts of the scalp, and is passed on from generation to generation. There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall. You can try to regain your full head of healthy hair by following natural methods: they are cheaper, they have no side effect and very often more effective than conventional one.

As said above an interesting guide you can follow to get your hair back and prevent future hair loss without dangerous chemicals and drugs, and without expensive supplements or painful hair transplants is available on this site: http://hairagain.toptips.org
Hope it helps.

If you wash her yourself, perhaps the best thing to do before you do it again,is to take her to the vet.You may be using a medicated shampoo that irritates her skin. It's best that you take her so they can look at her.It is probably something simple, but it is best for you,and of course, your poor dog,to get it sorted. The sooner the vet can see her,she might need some sort of medication, for a time.If so,the sooner you take her,the better it will be.

sounds like the dog has fleas, either give it a flea bath or take it to a vet and let them do it....dont let the dog suffer anymore than it already has.....the dog is biting, chewing down to the skin more or less scratching for the fleas

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tr.im/0asEc
While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

That happens to labs. It is because she is allergic to flea salvia. You should take her to the vet and get some of the good flea and tick killer that is applied to the skin on the back of their neck. I think it is Front line, the vet will know.

i think your pooch has what they call Microsporum Canis, its a fungal infection caught by dogs from other dogs or from rodents or from going on the soil. in layman's term it could be a ringworm in humans. you should go to the vet so she could confirm. they will prescribe an antifungal medicated shampoo or soap and antimicrobial oral therapy like antibiotics and stuff...don't go cuddle your dog unless it's not the fungal infection. you could get it as well.. remember to wash your hands often and prevent him from going to other dogs...hope i helped for more info search on yahoo about Microsporum Canis or ringworm, it'll go from there, or better visit your dog's vet!

Yes, my father always had the hair rubbed off his calves because he was muscular and his jeans wore the hair off and around the ankles from his socks.
