GOD is to big to be in only one place. the basic differences in one Religion and another may be the NAMES they refer to GOD as along with the various Rituals and Ceremonies they use to Honor, Adore, Worship, Praise, Pray to and Petition, Thank, Etc. other than these minor differences all religions are similar in their purposes.

Isn't the ocean bigger than its every drop?...Without those drops there would be no ocean, just as without believers and religions there wouldn't be any God. God is the projection of human ambition to live eternally, only believing in God you can believe that there's a life after death and that your soul is eternal. I'm a non-believer, so I can tell you that God wouldn't exist without religion and viceversa. For us, both exist as an external reality only because believers created them both, but for us none of them belongs to our inner world.

Like you say it yourself, we have one God and only, so one way is acceptable only, not many. But most of these religions came from one true religion, the one that every prophet tought to his people. but after the death of any prophet, people invented new things, laws, .and innovated in the religion, that's why there is too many sects. and this is why God sent prophets after prophets.
They change many things that you don't know where is the true one, where is the true book, too many versions.....
in Islam, the prophets said that the jews were divided on 71 sects, the Christians on 72 sects and the muslim will be divided on 73 sects. < meaning more sects in muslim religion than others > and it is happening.
But now, we have the Quran and the sayings and actions of the prophet Muhammad, we can't be lost, we know the right way from the different sects.
All the prophets came with the same message << worship God only, and follow his commands>

God belongs to one religion each time. 1) it was Judaism-when people mocked it God send fown another religion which is 2) Christnity- same here, when people started believeing that jesus(pbuh) was son of God. then he Send down the final religion which is 3) Islam and said there will be no religion after this one.
so basically God supports Islam coz Muslims are after God..(simple az that) braappp

He is not assigned to a religion. He created a one, true religion where all of His teachings are found, where all of His truths are found, where all of His saving ordinances are found, where all of His power is found, where they have all, not parts, of everything of God.
The other religions are just branches and break-offs to this one religion. And it is not Islam or Muslim or whatever the hell that is.
God is bigger than all (not physically) and because he is a God of order and perfection and love he will not have a million different religions that all represent him because that would just confuse all of us because every religion has it's certain "hype" that it focuses on. He would have one way to him where you can find all the things you will need in this life to return to Him one day. The point here is to find this one true religion. I suggest you start to look at some of the biggest and fastest growing religions in the world to figure this out.

Impossible. Religions can exist with or without Gods (whether they be real or imaginary), but there has never been a god that was not created and defined by a religion.

God is such a mis~ used word. Dog is better. DOGMA....
Get over it....and remember that we all live on the earth and need to be appreciating that...
The assignment is to be able to rule your self. Religion is like a bad insurance policy. Ask the earth if we belong here...LOL....sorry...had to add that...

God is not a part of any religion so to speak! He just is! Religion is a way for man to worship Him.

The is only one God that goes by many different names. Like children and politicians, people get greedy and want Him all to themselves for their own uses.
