Blood circulation occurs in the following steps.
1. First the blood enters the heart from coronary artery. next the blood is pumped to the lungs via pulmonary artery where diffusion of oxygen and carbon-dioxide occurs. then the blood is sent back to the heart via pulmonary vein.

2. From there it is sent throughout the body and then back to the heart.

due to to the above process, blood circulation in humans is called double circulation as the blood is circulated twice during one cycle.

Blood is circulated in our body through veins and artries. Impure blood is firstly pumped in the heart through veins, purified by combination with oxygen and then this pure blood is supplied through arteries to all body parts.

your blood circulates through your blood vessels...vein and artery. it starts from your vena cavas (major veins)-the blood is unoxygenated coming from the tissues in the body then to your right atrium (at the heart) down to the right ventricle through the valves (when the heart pumps) from there it goes to the pulmonary artery and goes to your lungs to be oxygenated. then it comes back to your heart through the pulmonary vein then to the left ventricle, up to the valves again then to the left atrium. after that it goes to your aorta (major artery) then to all parts of the body through the blood vessels again and into the capillaries. then the oxygenated blood will be consumed by the tissues, and it returns to the veins again and the cycle goes on...until the blood cells die to be regenerated by the body's vital organs...liver, spleen and bone marrow...
