If ur a meat eater....go in for liver or virtually any red meat..
If ur a veggie....try green leafy vegetables
jaggery is also a good source of iron.
if ur Hemoglobin is too low then you will need oral iron tablets to supplement ur diet as well.....

Liver is the best, fry it with onions and have some broccoli
on the side. Stick with a whole grain diet and eat plenty
of fruit especially apricots and plums, peaches are good too.Raisins make a good snack, even oatmeal raisin
cookies would be good too.

The best food for iron defiency is apple. It is realy rich in Iron. Other foodstuff rich in Iron are eggs, meat (if you are a non-vegetarian). In veg yiu can have red palak (spinach). the best one is apple. try to eat as much as green vegetables.
you can also try iron tablets from a chemist, Try b complex tablets also.
