Theres nothing you can do to stop people or bots scanning your ports; just use an up to date firewall and make sure you're in stealth mode.
You can check your firewall at the Shields Up site, its safe;

port scanning is like houseflies. No you can't stop it, just make sure they don't find a port that's vulnerable. If you run your own mail server, you could switch off undelivered email bouncebacks - that reduces the information that the hacker has to confirm your IP address is a real one. Also you can refuse to answer ping requests. But both of these features are actually useful in many circumstances. On our system we left them both running, and have a pair of firewalls and a complex password policy so that the hacker will find it hard to get in through the ports even though s/he has confirmation that they exist.

We did spot a hacker doing password scanning once, and called the police. They followed it up pretty fast. The hacker didn't get in.

you must put your reports into your scanner (if you have one). press the scan button then wait for it to appear on your PC screen.
but if it keeps coming then just unplug it and then plug it back in (take it out of the PC give it a blow and plug it back in) because there may be some dust inside.
