Sweetie,
Many people will tell you it is ok not to be in love, but the fact is it is great to be in love. And love at 17 can be so so so intoxicating. So yes it will be great for you to have a bf. Mostly three things come in the way of a girl having a bf:
1) You don't meet them! Some girls have a big invisible sign on their forehead "Stay Away". Be approchable, go to places where young people come (barista, library, gym, for god's sake tution classes) and smile. And make eye contact
2) Being too much of a prude, not enough sense of humor
3) Looks and dressing - look good, seem like you wanna have fun
If these three are fixed you will have a great bf soon. And when you do please let me know!
truly

I'll ask you this question. I know your young and still innocent on some things about relationship. Do we need relationship if we ask for it? Even though I'm 20, I'd rather wait for it than ask for it. Got it? We don't asks for boyfriend. Still, if ever you'll have a boyfriend and in the end you'll break up don't make it as a sad one but rather learn from it. Anyways, you have all the time to still learn and develop your self. That's all I can give to help you. I know I didn't answer what you really meant but for others i hope this may help. Thanks!

why should you feel bad? there's absolutely nothing wrong with being single.
just think that when the time is right, someone will come along.
its good not to be dependant on men.
If i were you i'd get a few girl mates roudn and have a really girlie evening watching movies and talking and stuff. its bound to lift your spirits and show you that men aren't a nessecity in your life.
Good Luck and hope you feel better soon x

Don't feel bad, feel special.
So you didn't meet anyone you really like, so that's cool. You're important, you should set the highest standard for yourself.
At 17 boyfriends are high maintenance anyway. Enjoy the freedom - it won't last forever.

You don't need one. Is it that important? I waited until I was 18 like I was supposed to and I stayed out of trouble. Though me and her are just another old story, at least she didn't get pregnant at 15 years old.

you are still young , enjoy your youth without giving in to commitments and avoid complications of relationships. you may know never what it could lead to esp. when both are curious about exploring their physical feelings. keep urself pure and instead focus ur mind on your own future. nothing is more fulfilling than growing up with making urself more responsible than depending on others for their own happiness!

Stop feelin' so down ... go out and enjoy your life with or without a BF ... be yourself and before you known it a nice guy will ask you out ... I promise .... if one doesn't soon ... I'll take you out ....
Where would you like to go?
