You should check expat websites from that city to find out if the company is legitimate. If it's a teaching job check out Dave's ESL Cafe or Nate's China School Review on-line. Also, check with your embassy to see if the company has been reported for bad faith hirings. If you know anyone with connections in the Public Security Bureau ask if they can verify that the company is licensed to hire foreigners.

Check whether the entry is single or multi.
If the visa is single entry. and if you wanna get out of China temporary, you might need to apply any permit before leaving.
If you didn't, your visa would be expired.
