A child is born by coming out of a woman's vagina in a normal birth. If it is a Cesarean birth the woman's stomach is cut open and the baby taken out then she is stitched up. She usually has an epidural which is a drug injected into the lower spine which means she can't feel her stomach being cut.

The fetus develops in the uterus; a special place low in a woman's abdomen (not in her stomach where food goes). When the fetus is ready for birth, the uterus opens and pushes the baby out of the woman's vagina; a special opening between her legs.
This is really a question for your parents to answer and explain, but ask any trusted adult if your parents won't deal with the question.

the childs head comes out of the vagina, then comes the rest of it... till the feet. then there is a cord that is attached to the mother that is cut. the cord is responsible for feeding the baby in the womb.
in some cases, the child will be sideways or feet-first...and in those cases they may decide to surgically remove the child from the uterus. this is called a "C-ceciton" and will leave a scar above uterus. C-section can be done for other kinds of high risk pregnancies.
i dont see why everyone is attacking you for this question. in the chance it is genuine, then you deserve to know the answer. i could type at 6 years old - long before i knew where babies came from.

The only reason im responding to this is cuz my 6 yr old just asked me if babies were born out of my butt. Honey, if you dont know where babies come from, I suggest you look up "childbirth" on the internet or ask your parents.

You poor misguided creature. A baby comes out of woman's vagina. Which is roughly analogous to where a man's penis is but a woman doesn't have a penis.
Childbirth is very painful and there is an enormous amount of research material available that explains a woman's anatomy, inside and out and I hope you apply yourself to it.

You have really humoured me, i must say.
Even, my 7 year old cousin knows the answer.
Birth occurs either vaginally or by Cesarean section.
Use the yahoo search engine and search for BIRTH.
