You are 30 years old teaching a two years old kid, the kid ask you, How does the automobile works, now this kid does not know how to read yet but you need to explain the whole combustion system and the rest of the car, you will be in trouble there.

Or try to explain the same kid the function of vaccines and why is worth the pain.

Now how old are you.....How much do you think you understand in relation to somebody that is million years older then you.. Is like you trying to teach algebra to sperms.

Now you know why some times you do not understand. ...I'll go with faith in this one.

That's tepid logic.

On the other side, have you ever tried to explain the negative effects of racism to a 90 year old bigot?

Some things simply require an open mind and a willingness to question what you think you know.

Your religion...no matter what it is, isn't a million years older than anyone. Ancient knowledge is just that, ancient/archaic.
You apparently don't have any trouble typing on a computer.
Do you know its inner workings?
Do you understand the behaviors of particles on a sub-atomic level or is electricity a mystery to you as well?
You make use of modern knowledge acquired in the last 50 years on a daily basis. Do you prefer smoke signals and drums to email or VoIP? Do you understand it completely?
It requires no leap of faith, and the knowledge is not out of your grasp. You just have to seek it. Educate yourself. Life isn't THAT mysterious.

I took something else out of your explanation. That even though the kid doesn't understand and you have to dumb it down, you don't just make up something silly and say "God did it".

Gods get used to explain a lot of concepts people didn't understand at the time and didn't want to try and explain. But as we learn, we abandon such childish ideas as Appollo and his sun chariot, and Poseidon of the sea. We just haven't yet explained the creation of the universe. When that happens, people will abandon the other monotheistic religions.

VERY GOOD !!!!! READ DEUTERONOMY 29: 29---which tells us that the secret things belong to God.

Hebrews 11: 1 and verse 6 --which tell us today just what faith is and that we all need to have it.

Yes, as you can tell I relate to that!!!!!!!!!

One of the best questions I have seen so far.

Thank-you for sharing!

Of course, God knows the human race is still not advanced enough to receive and understand all those universal and celestial wisdoms. Maybe that's why there's still a lot of spiritual knowledge that's still made hidden from us until the time come for us to be advanced enough to receive and comprehend.

Have not heard of the phrase "simple terms"? You don't go all out trying to explain to a kid where babies come from.

What we know about God, we know from His word, but, yes, there are depths and heights and mysteries that we simply cannot begin to fathom...

We are not called to understand Him or explain Him, we are called to love and trust Him. If only we would learn that lesson!!

god bless!!
