Hi there,
I have the very same problem and it doesn't really matter what i eat. I have used several different types of creams. The best over the counter one I have found is "Ungvita" it really doesn't smell the nicest but it works very well.
Other than that my GP gives me a prescription cream called "Cele-stone" which also works very well. I wish you luck as I know how itchy and sore it can become.

Try using eucerin lotion. I only recommend that brand because it doesn't have many chemicals/perfumes to irritate your skin.
Lots of rashes are actually caused by dry skin. After you was your hands/bathe, and your skin is still damp, use the lotion to lock in the moisture.
