If you are using windows xp, go to the link below and download MS Java VM. Its much better than sun java and is for xp. Its the file I use since sun microsystems threw their hissy fit about MS java.

if you deleted it today and haven't emptyed recycle bin, check trash there and click restore.. if it's not there, then just maybe you need 2 reboot and then type sunjava.com in search bar and download it that way : )
