The catholic religion still acknowledge miracles. But it is a very long process. In recent years a man who lived in Canada during the 1930s called Brother Andre was aknowledge a single miracle after studies of 300 thousands (no typo) miracles claims by the catholic church. Furthermore he is not yet a Saint, he has to be acknowledged more miracles. He is the stage before becoming a Saint. Béatifié in french.
