And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Reverend Brain, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust." And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared, "Hear me now, I have seen the light! Two carrots were taking a ride in a Corvette and had a horrible accident. The first carrot woke up in the hospital and asked the doctor, "Am I gonna be alright doc?" The doctor told him he would be fine. Then he asked, "But what about my buddy?" The doctor sadly shook his head back and forth and said, "I'm sorry son, you're friend is going to live, but...he'll be a vegetable for the rest of his life."
