Surah Al-Asr (103)
103:1 By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
103:2 Verily Man is in loss,
103:3 Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

In short, the Quran say that people would not be judged on race colour riches etc. PEople would be judged on 'taqwa'. Taqwa is an arabic word. I would advice you to best ask the translation from a confirmed source. You might find this link useful. www.irf.net

Beleive in Allah and worship only him.
Beleive that Mohammed(peace be up on him) was a porphet sent by Allah.
obey Allah and his porphet.
Pry 5 times a day
fast in whole Ramadan.
Give poor people some of your mony.
Avoid each kind of fallacities.
Read Quraan and follow it.
you should always be afraid of Allah, so adjust your behavuior.

Ultimately based upon the MERCY of Almighty Allah. We must have faith in Allah that we will be in heaven with Him - that is, if we lived as good Muslims according to his Word.

forget it joel you've already most likely broken 99% of eveyrthing it says in the quran its so impossible to live up to the expectations your doomed from the start unless youwant to be brian washed and live like your dead on earth.

I don't thing anybody,even any muslim would eventualy seek thru the gate of the heavens, a glimpse could be, but should you are to read please do so at your own pace, it could just indicated as such. And besides, I am not to plays around with word either on this "classified/categorizing", as you might awares of.

Pick up quarrel with your Muslim colleague and hit him badly, so make him to die!!!
Police will arrest you and Islamic Court will issue a verdict saying you murdered some one... As per Islamic law a death has to be rewarded with a death. So you will be executed... So those who die in this world will directly get a ticket to heaven, that too if they are executed after Friday noon prayers......
