Why do cats lick their lips(do cats have lips???) when they are looking straight at you???

Cats lick their lips though emotion this can be because he is hungry or wants to play! My cat licks there lips once they have eaten, and when they get to the point it play time!!
Of course cats have lips!!!!

they think you're tasty lol i don't know. Maybe they're gently teling you that they want food or it's an ancestors thing (you know tigers and all)
